For Canyon State Electric in Tempe, Shade Architects led the complete renovation and updating of a 21,000-square-foot office and warehouse space. We brought together and managed the design team, including the interior designer and the structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineers. We prepared the permit and construction drawings, coordinated code and life-safety requirements, and supplied added details during construction. The work included new partitions, ceilings and building-system improvements, plus an operable partition whose structural support had to be built into the existing structure.
