Site planning and the design brief
We start with the intended use, the property, and the space the building needs to accommodate. Site studies and preliminary layouts help you assess the proposed building and identify the architectural and engineering work involved.
Share the site information you have, your approximate building size, budget, and target schedule. We use those starting points to discuss the design scope and what further information the project needs.
Architectural design and consultant coordination
As the design develops, we coordinate structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civil, and specialty consultants. Our construction documents describe the building layout, materials, systems, and details.
We can work with your contractor on a design-build team or prepare documents for competitive bidding. The consultant scope depends on the site, building, and proposed use.
During construction
During construction, we answer contractor questions and review submittals as part of our construction administration services.
Principal's experience
Founding principal Justin Trexler is a registered Arizona architect and U.S. Air Force veteran with more than 20 years of architecture experience in Arizona. He holds master’s degrees in Architecture and Real Estate Development from Arizona State University.
His experience includes commercial, civic, higher-education, and research buildings.
